Salt & Stone offers two separate waterfront properties: four self-contained oceanfront units at 56 Esplanade, and Sunset Waters, a private house on the Burrum River. Both have heated pools and fully air-conditioned interiors, with different spaces for a family holiday or time away together.

For couples and families
A two-bedroom oceanfront unit gives you your own living space, kitchen and private balcony or patio, with direct beach access and a shared heated pool. Each unit sleeps up to four guests. It is a simple way to keep holiday meals and quiet mornings on your own schedule.
For a house to yourselves
Sunset Waters sleeps up to six, with three ensuite bedrooms, a verandah and its own heated pool. Choose the riverfront house when you prefer one shared home for your group. It is a separate property from the oceanfront complex.
Group accommodation in Burrum Heads
A group holiday can work better when everyone has a little space of their own. At the oceanfront complex, each of the four units has its own kitchen, living space, two bedrooms and one bathroom. Booking several units keeps your group at one beachfront property while giving each household its own accommodation.
Choose a layout for your guest numbers
- Up to four guests: one two-bedroom oceanfront unit.
- Five or six guests: Sunset Waters offers one private home with three ensuite bedrooms. Alternatively, enquire about two oceanfront units if separate kitchens and living spaces suit your group.
- Seven or eight guests: two units provide four bedrooms and two bathrooms in total.
- Nine to twelve guests: three units provide six bedrooms and three bathrooms in total.
- Thirteen to sixteen guests: all four units provide eight bedrooms and four bathrooms.
These are capacity options, subject to availability. Each unit accommodates no more than four guests, and the house no more than six. Sunset Waters is at a different riverfront property; it is not a fifth unit at the beachfront complex.
Arrange several units together
Send Balmy Breaks one request with your preferred dates, total guest numbers and how you would like to split the group between units. Ask about the bedroom and bed arrangements before choosing the combination. For several units, use the manager's multi-villa booking request. The availability form lists Villa 1 and the whole complex; the team can help with other individual villas and combinations.
A shared heated pool or one of your own?
The Oceanfront Units share the heated waterfront pool. Booking one unit does not reserve the complex's pool exclusively for that unit. Sunset Waters has its own private heated pool for the guests of the house. Choose your accommodation around that distinction rather than assuming the two properties share facilities.
