The council describes remnant wetland habitat, Melaleuca trees and habitat for native birds and other wildlife. Its value is in the landscape and what lives there, so a quiet visit with binoculars or a camera makes more sense than expecting a developed recreation complex. Sightings depend on the day and cannot be guaranteed.
Keep to lawful public access and established routes where provided. Do not assume that the creek name means access to a boat ramp, a waterside walking circuit or a place to enter the water.
