Queensland Parks describes coastal habitats, wetlands, beaches and walking opportunities across the park. Its information includes options such as the Banksia track, Bird Hide walk and river-side day-use areas. These are choices in different parts of the park, not a list of stops that all share one entrance.
A shorter walk with time to look at the habitat may be a better holiday plan than trying to cover several sections. Check the stated distance, grade and starting point on the official park information before settling on an itinerary.
Check access for your chosen section
Vehicle requirements and facilities differ across the park. Do not assume a road, campsite or walking track can be reached directly from the Burrum Heads waterfront. Review current park alerts, maps, weather and any permit requirements before departure. Carry water and suitable footwear, keep to designated routes and avoid disturbing wildlife. The national park can be an outing during your accommodation stay without needing to move your holiday base.
